Due to the remarkable International development in the olive oil industry and the great business opportunities that sector could bring, Communication Craftsmen (COMCRA) and Jordan Olive Products Exporters Association (JOPEA) and The Amman Chamber of Industry had joined efforts to organize The International Olive Products & Technology Exhibition and Forum (IOTEX) on April 27th – 29th 2010 at Amman International Motor Show.
This exhibition will be a biannual recurrent exhibition and forum that gives the chance for all olive oil stakeholders all over the world to meet in one place and discuss business opportunities, joint ventures and to gain knowledge about the latest technologies of olive oil industry.
Apart from that a specialized forum will be organized to discuss different related topics in olive oil harvesting best practices, waste management, quality control and others.
An olive oil tasting competition also will be organized under the direct supervision of International and local institutions, panels and experts.
And, in order to maximize the business opportunity offered by this exhibition and forum and attract the largest number of quality visitors, a comprehensive promotional and marketing campaign was designed by the organizers. This campaign identifies and targets stakeholders in Europe and Middle East including Levant, Gulf and North Africa. It also covers other parts of the world including the remaining of Asia, Africa, Australia and USA.
